Brock was injured while loading lengths of pipe onto a skid for transport by AIA. Brocks complaint named thirteen defendants, among them Alaska International Industries, Inc. , the parent corporation of AIA. Brock alleged liability on AIIs part on grounds of "negligence of one or more of the defendants and/or of their employees or agents."
